Spiritan Community Outreach Ethiopia (SCORE) was established 46 years ago as an indigenous, church based non-governmental organization, in response to the needs of marginalized and difficult to reach communities in the areas. The program's initial intervention was an Integrated Development Program in which water supply, food security & livelihood, health, education and other cross-cutting issues were included. Lately the organization modified its approach to Integrated Community Based Development Program in which all the above areas of intervention were retained and the involvement of the community and support from the organization were advanced.
