CIAI is a child focused Italian based international NGO working for the wellbeing of children, which is why most of its projects focus on Orphan and Vulnerable Children. For several years CIAI has been working with OVC’s and institutionalized children in Addis Ababa and has recently added another component for street children. CIAI started working in Ethiopia since 1994 and have other projects in Oromia, SNNPR and Amhara Regions. CIAI uses capacity building as a strategy to address the problems of OVC’s and has been conducting a series of trainings for staffs working directly with disadvantaged children/youth.
