To reduce the burden of neglected diseases in developing nations, in September 2011, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded RTI International a five-year, global program targeting neglected tropical disease (NTD) elimination and control. The ENVISION project will collaborate closely with implementing partners and USAID with the aim to expand support for NTD control in priority countries and to further the development of evidence-based policies and standards globally.
