Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the attendance and smooth operation of the Emergency Electric Power Generators. Also responsible for the daily, weekly and other planned preventive maintenance activities of Emergency Electric Power Generators & Fire Pump Generators, Generator Controls, Fuel Storage & Distribution Systems, transformers and low voltage rooms. Besides, the applicant is responsible for proper record keeping of the operation & performance parameters of the generators, fuel storages, transformers& all electric meters.
Education: Diploma in Auto Mechanics or Elctricity from a recognized College/ Vocatinal School.
Experience: A minimum of three years work experience on the operation and maintenance of diesel gnerators; generator control systems and medium voltage distribution systems.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: “C” grade in English in Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate Examination (ESLCE) and good command of English language skill is required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: the individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills and abilities.
Must possess good knowledge of raging electrical circuit diagrams and mechanical layout drawings.
Must have good English language skills to facilitate effective communication process
Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments.
Must be capable of working in a “team” environment
Ability to learn new technology
