Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, controls and supervises activities of the factory in an integrated and efficient manner. Optimizes production processes by reducing waste and production time and improving labor efficiency.
Devises methodologies to collect pertinent and up-to-date information from all sections of the factory about the quality and efficiency of operations.
Analyses data on the efficiency of the factory, using appropriate models and statistical approaches and provides timely reporting to senior management.
Manages and oversees the Information Center (Internet & Library) to provide the The Executive Board with adequate information on industry standards and changes in technologies.
Conducts in-depth studies to develop new products and enhances the existing ones to meet the needs and expectations of company and customer.
Provides daily (weekly) confirmation report to the Executive Board about performance of staff under his/her custody.
Interfaces with Management Information System (MIS) to develop contemporary data base system for production operation.
Supervises the quality of raw materials and packaging materials in all shifts to ensure they are defect-free upon reception, during storage and handling and ensures production capacity utilization will not be affected by use of poor or damaged raw materials and/or packaging materials.
Completes production plan by: scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing set assignments, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Prepares shift schedule to include work station assignments/rotations, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
Trains and coaches production line employees; conducts employee performance reviews.
Operates within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Prepares reports on the achievements, challenges and problems encountered with recommended solutions.

Lead a continuous improvement/employee involvement culture
Drive for excellence and support operators and staff in their tasks.
Provide timely feedback and coaching to individuals and team in order to develop them to their full potential and to achieve objectives in accordance with Company guidelines.
Ensure succession plans and development - coaching of direct reports (where applicable) including development of specific training.
Ensure ongoing smooth operation of factory through employee and industrial relations
Job Requirement
Education: B.A/M.A. in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Business Management
Work Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant experience out of which at least two (3) years are in a supervisory position.
Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
