The Education officer in Emergencies will ensure the implementation of the SC programs around Education within the Refugee Camp, ensuring that all potential Education target groups are reached in a safe and protective environment and to perform and promote SCI’s objectives with respect to SCI’s code of conduct, and HR Manual.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Ensure that all refugee children in the camp are enrolled in ECCE and ABE and follow up the day to day activities.
Have a key role in coordinating and supervising Education related activities and in coordination with SC partners.
Produce and submit quality and analytical periodic reports to SC and partner organizations.
Share information on the progress and challenges of Education program work with SC program staff.
Organize capacity building training for education facilitators and parent teachers committee.
Carry out additional tasks as required and given by the Education manager.
Collaborate and coordinate with other stake holders at the camp level to ensure strategy and effectiveness of the programing.

Minimum of 4 years working experience preferable with NGOs especially in emergency Education.
Willingness to live in a hardship area

Strong report writing skills
