Plan International Ethiopia is looking for Child Protection in Emergencies Officer to be based in Sekota/Lalibela
The Role
Working with the team, the post holder is responsible for project design, overseeing implementation and monitoring while ensuring quality program delivery of the overall child protection in Emergency activities. She/he ensures integration as well as smooth teamwork within and across other county programs at the program Unit level. Key components of the position also include regional advocacy and networking, strategic thematic area planning, developing and strengthening partnerships and mainstreaming of child centred community development.
The Person
To be successful, you need to have BA/BSc degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Educational Administration, Pedagogy and other related fields with a minimum of 3 years of humanitarian aid experience applied in emergency/recovery response operations preferably in the area of Child Protection n in emergency/recovery, humanitarian crisis experience is more preferable
