Plan International Ethiopia is looking for a Gender and Inclusion Specialist to be based in the Country Office.
The Role
The position provides technical support for gender equality and inclusion of marginalized groups of persons with disabilities in all elements of CSP. S/he ensures the implementation of plan’s commitment to gender equality based on the international standards and systematic collection and analysis of gender and disability dis-aggregated data for both adults and children in all programs and projects. The overall purpose of this position holder ensure the mainstreaming and promotion of gender equality and inclusion in all CP/CSP and strengthen specific programs for the empowerment for girls, women and persons with disabilities to close gender gaps and help overcome gender-based inequality and discrimination.
The Person
To be successful, you need to have a Bachelor degree in Gender studies, social work, social science or other related field of study with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the field, specifically in gender and development programmes/projects.Skills and Experience:
