To organise and to coordinate all activities of the shift techncians and to provide services to the production sections in the field of corrective and preventive maintenance. Organizing effective resolve of all technical production disturbances. Organize and coordinate all activities taking place in technical workshops. Ensure all preventive maintenance work on a dedicated area is prepared and performed as effective as possible.

Core tasks / Deliverables
To organize and conduct maintenance and to remedy breakdowns and technical issues on the production equipment in the fields of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics, control, measurement, coding and inspection. Organize that communication within the group of shift technicians is effective across the shifts, particularly with regards to technical issues and production disturbances.
To coordinate maintenance activities across the sections at the Production department. This includes the following:
To order the execution of maintenance and inspections in compliance with the agreed maintenance concept (work-flow control).
To call in assistance in respect of, and to remedy, breakdowns in three-shift operation.
In consultation with department managers and the maintenance manager, to apply priorities to the execution of the activities.
To contribute to the implementation of the brewery’s TPM, PM and AM.
To direct, to develop and to support the personnel reporting to him. This includes the following:
To direct, coordinate, plan and evaluate technician activities and performance.
To ensure uniform establishment of roles and responsibilities.
To coach and to appraise personnel, to hold performance interviews.
To initiate training courses/training plans.
To ensure optimum availability of personnel, both in the medium and the long term.
To ensure the availability of all required specialisms by drawing on the departments’ own personnel or by hiring in third parties.
After consultation with the department managers and jobplanners, to draw up weekly and monthly maintenance planning in respect of the deployment of personnel.
To chair the team consultation and to ensure the execution of the ensuing decisions and activities.
To ensure adequate communication within the department and with principals.
To provide direction and to develop professional knowledge within the team.
Evaluation of technicians’ and third parties’ performance.
To contribute to the maintenance policy of Production. This includes the following:
To draw up instructions and procedures in respect of the handling of work orders, from request up to and including execution and settlement in CMMS and ensure the complete process is executed effectively.
Ensure protocols are available and effective with regards to shift transfer
To optimise the Maintenance Group workforce and that of the group of shift technicians. This includes the following:
To optimise maintenance activities.
To effectively and efficiently deploy the maintenance personnel reporting to him.
Ensure all work is executed based on priorities, to manage the backlog of maintenance
If required organize 3rd party services to assist in maintenance executionTo (co-)direct the development of professional technical knowledge within Production, particularly among the operators

Specific training and/or experience
HTS (technical college) –electrical engineering or control engineering
5 years’ experience in a senior technical position in a production environment
