BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY: None Dimensions The following responsibilities are not exhaustive. They aim to provide a clear sense of the nature and scope of jobs at this grade: · Responsible for resources within defined boundaries or a specialist area. · Providing support and information on areas of work covered by their remit. · Implements country plans to agreed standards. · Assists with the development of solutions to problems and responds to routine problems · Responds to and uses information received in a variety of formats from different sources. · Some flexibility to anticipate and resolve challenges within departmental parameters in own work area. · Day to day planning in line with operating unit priorities. · Communicates both internally and externally to give and receive information.
HR Responsibilities
Recruitment · Administratively support recruitment process through filtering CVs from ethio jobs · Offer administrative support in scheduling of interview (skype or in person or telephonic interviews) for various positions · Support in coordinating background and reference checks process for successful candidates. · Liaise with relevant line managers to ensure that new employees are allocated email address, computer, work station among others. · Support in maintaining and updating recruitment documents from candidates
HR administrative roles · Support the HR & Admin Officer in ensuring that all HR admin functions including administration of leave and TOIL management.
Health and Safety · Work closely with the HR & Admin Officer to ensure that the welfare and health needs of staff are met, including access to preventative health care as well access to adequate health care locally. · Support in ensuring that potential health risks are identified and pro-actively dealt with in a timely basis. Administration Responsibilities
· Ensure Oxfam guest house is well maintained at all time and make sure that utilities are replenished and acts as a point of contact for all guests to address concerns Proactively engage in administering the timely replenishment and payment of water, electricity, phone, refreshment and hygiene materials

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:
· A university degree/ Diploma in HR/ Administration or related field.
· HR professional qualification and knowledge of employment legislation.
· Minimum of 3 years working experience in Human Resource function.
· Manages resources and deadlines with minimum supervision.
· High level of initiative
· Proven experience of operating computerised systems excellent knowledge and use of Word document.
· Planning, initiative and attention to detail
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Fluent in English.
· Responsible, flexible and adaptable.
· Good team player and builder.
· Self-confidence, maturity & ability to co-operate with a wide variety of people
