Call for Consultancy Services (National)
Oxfam’s WASH Partner Capacity Building project supported with funding from SIDA aims to build sustainable local capacity of three national NGOs in the emergency-affected regions of Ethiopia in order to deliver appropriate high quality WASH services. Oxfam is in process to identify full time national consultant/s for three months (mid November 2016 to mid January 2017).
The scope of this consultancy is to develop capacity of three Oxfam’s partners in Ethiopia on fund raising for disaster response and recovery with following expected deliverables:
1. Capacity need assessment report on fundraising capacity of partners identifying key gaps and a short, medium and long term action plan to work on those gaps including Training/capacity building activities on proposal development;
2. Development of at least 6 project proposals together with 3 partners (2 proposal / partner). Project proposals to be submitted to existing identified calls; If not, producing of potential shelf proposals that can be applied when there is call;
3. Identification/mapping of new potential calls for project proposals and Identification/mapping of donors, NGOs and networks in the country;
4. Develop a fundraising strategy for each of the three partners;
5. Registration of the three partners on OCHA GMS system and ensure they have capacity to manage it for future
