AQ Roses PLC has a vacancy for Human Resource Manager. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for everything related with our employees. You will work in a small team which you have to manage.
Tasks and Responsibilities
You will manage the HRM department, which is responsible for everything related to HR and implementation of HR programs and policies as needed by the organization
You will keep close contact with the other departments regarding HR
With your team you are responsible for recruitment, HR administration, contact with the Workers Council, contact with other stakeholders like NGO’s and Government institutes
In cooperation with the Production Department you are responsible for promotion, disciplinary actions, leaves, recruitment and selection
As our workers are key in our operations, respecting and good communication with the workers is very important. You are responsible for a good working environment and together with the respective departments responsible for problem solving and regular communications with the workers
In cooperation with internal departments and stakeholders you are responsible for all kind of capacity building programs in the company
In cooperation with internal departments you are responsible for the different certifications
As you will be part of the top Management in our company, you will report directly to the owner and General Manager.
Salary and benefits as per company scale and to be negotiated in a range of ETB 25.000-30.000 gross, Medical costs are 100% covered
3-5 years of relevant work experience in HRM in an organization with high number of workers/people
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and related fields
Good knowledge of Afan Oromo, Amharic and English language, both written and spoken
Excellent (English) communication skills
Has good knowledge of Ethiopian Labor Law
Good computer handling skills
Ability to coordinate with others and work under pressure of tight and conflicting deadlines and handle concurrent activities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with analytic approach
