Cooperazione Internazionale (COOPI) is an international Italian NGO established in 1965. Since then COOPI has been undertaking activities to help and empower the poor and needy in different countries. COOPI Ethiopia started its operation in 1995 and its activities include water resources development, Food Security, Human and Veterinary Health, Education, Hygiene and Sanitation Promotion & Awareness and Capacity Building.
COOPI is currently implementing a 42 months project with the principal objective of strengthening economic opportunities and resilience of the most vulnerable communities to human-induced and natural disaster crises, through measures that will increase livelihoods and employment, and better access to basic services, in Liben cluster which are known to be drought prone and food insecure.
The project is entitled as “Building resilience and creation of economic opportunities in Liben cluster under RESET II.
COOPI is looking to hire a Project manager/Senior Water technician who will play a key role on the project.
The Project Manager/Senior Water technician will report to the Area Office Coordinator in the Area offices or directly to the Head of mission depending on duty station. He/she will be the focal person directly responsible for the overall implementation of a project. He/she will be the person to whom all project staff will refer to for logistic, administrative and management issues.
