Job Summary: -
Responsible for all aspects of installation, repair, and maintenance, Inspection, testing in general medical equipment workshop management including personnel management; planning and maintenance of all medical equipment; safety/security in order to provide a safe, healthy, pleasing and comfortable environment for staffs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
v Responsible to plan, develops, set goals, prioritize, and schedule daily activities and clearly communicate performance output expectations including full utilization of resources.
v Responsible to oversee maintenance records, including operation and maintenance records, capital asset inventory, and work order requests, service logs, safety reports, etc.
v Responsible to oversee the selection, installation, operation, maintenance, modification, and modernization of workshop management systems; ensure maintenance are completed on time and within budget.
v Ensure all resources are available to staff members as needed to allow them to perform installation, maintenance & repair of medical equipment and systems as assigned.
v Verify process exists to ensure appropriate response to all service requests.
v Produce, review, and make assessments of various reports related to work completion, unfinished work, preventive maintenance completion rates, and repeat equipment failures.
v Responsible for a 24 hour response to service requests.
v Responsible for scheduling and performing preventative maintenance.
v Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
v Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or resident
v Liaising closely with other medical professionals, as well as with end- users discussing and solving problems with product quality with Sales and marketing departments.

v Assign technicians to install, adjust, maintain, repair the equipment to the customer
Minimum required qualifications:
Education:
BSC Degree in Bio-Medical Sciences/Bio-medical Engineering /Pharmacy or other related field.
Work Experience:
Out of Six years of relevant work experiences, of which a minimum three years in management or supervisory experience is recommended.
Knowledge:
ü Knowledge and the ability to coach others.
ü Able to set a vision and inspire partners and customers.
ü Experience of working within and or with other functions and a track record of delivering results through cross functional teams, particularly supervisory and corporate relations are critical.
ü A well Supported business orientated professional or academic qualification.
Skills and Competencies:
ü Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively;
ü Staff responsiveness, value and team work oriented and strong report writing skill,
ü Good commercial understanding a high level of computer literacy
ü the capacity to combine a high degree of technical knowledge with creativity;
ü Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
