ROLE PURPOSE:
MEAL Coordinator will be responsible to design and set MEAL system for IKEA children on the move project by developing/reviewing projects monitoring and evaluation indicators, tools and establish electronic database. S/he will be responsible for development/ implementation of program-wide MEAL activities. He/she is expected to ensure all aspects of program data - from data collection to result reporting are of high quality; implement MEAL specific activities; ensure program compliance and provide technical support in MEAL issue for project implementing partners.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILIT
Carryout all regular program data collection, data cleaning, data compilation, and data analysis for IKEA children on the move project
Ensure timely submission of data from field staffs and implementing partners
Lead or support development and correct utilization of innovative electronic data capture systems (data base) and protocols;
Lead all program data archiving and filing for IKEA children on the move project.
Provide trainings, capacity building and technical support to project staffs and project implementing partners
Support Save the Children south hub child protection and education projects with supportive supervision of data collection and data compilation activities;
Support the planning and execution of cross-functional supportive supervision and data quality audits among all partners
Provide child protection program manager, program coordinators, and partners with routine data analysis and feedback along with recommendations;
Support child protection program manager and program managers to prepare annual work plan
Actively engage on projects re-planning and reprogramming of activities.
Ensure timely implementation and effectiveness of IKEA Children on the move project and other education and child protection projects
Provide MEAL training to SCI and implementing partner staff.
Provide technical support to project staffs and project implementing partners in project activity monitoring, data organization and utilization, and report writing
Ensure integration and synergy of education and child protection program interventions towards the realization of project’s goal
Coordinate and facilitate baseline, midterm and end line surveys and other researches
Facilitate timely and regular programme monitoring in collaboration with hub child protection program manager and program manager
Timely review project reports and provide constructive feedbacks to child protection and education program coordinators
Keep on track performance of project’s activities according to the plan and inform Managers if there are deviations from the plan
Develop and disseminate data collection tools for electronic database system consumption and ensure their timely submission
Ensure that project data are timely collected, entered to database and used for quarterly and annual reporting
Support coordination and harmonization of partners and self-implemented project activities, targets and indicators
Identify and collect potential success stories and best practices relating to IKEA children on the move project for documentation on regular basis
Undertake additional tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor
