Chemonics International seeks experienced professionals for the USAID-funded Global Health Supply Chain - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project. GHSC-PSM Ethiopia will serve as the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve the country’s management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global and local health initiatives.
The project is currently seeking qualified Health Supply Chain Advisor, seconded to FMOH to be based at FMOH, Addis Ababa. The Health Supply Chain Advisor – FMOH is responsible to provide technical assistance in HIV/AIDS, malaria and RH/FH commodities to the Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Directorate of Federal Ministry of Health. S/he also liaise the project with the Directorate. Please see the criteria below for details:
Job Requirement
Advanced degree in public health, supply chain, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain management
Demonstrated ability of working in the national public health supply chain environment
Significant experience in system strengthening of the Ethiopian public health supply chain management, with experience related to HIV/AIDS, Malarial and RH/FP programs
Demonstrated ability to manage and implement complex USAID-funded public health programs or projects in a developing country context.
Written and spoken English fluency required.
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
