We hire for attitude and skill as much as passion for our industry. Habesha is looking for a Talent Acquisition & Retention Specialist which is a Grade 9 position per the Company’s job grading.
The Role
Working with the team, the post holder is responsible to - Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts, develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans , lead employment branding initiatives , perform head hunting & sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs , recommend ,manage and implement talent retention strategies , plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
The Person
This role is positioned at a specialist level and requires a proven experience as talent acquisition & retention specialist, experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding, proficiency in the use of social media and job boards.
You need to be self –starter, excellent communicator and a leader and strategic thinker who can ensure quick turn around with less amount of supervision. You have to also get ready to demonstrate yourself to assume challenging and exciting responsibilities and to progress on the career ladder.
University level degree in a related field (Management, Human Resource, Psychology, Organization Development and Marketing) and/or equivalent work experience. Ideally 4 plus years in a talent acquisition and retention role.
