As part of Deluxe Furniture, you will join more than 250 strong and vibrant individuals working nationally to accomplish the mission of the organization. Deluxe Furniture invites you, the qualified candidate, to apply for the positions of Materials Management Head.
The Materials Management Head typically does the following Activities:
ü Stocking activities; stores and distributes supplies and equipment;
ü Maintains inventory and stock records;
ü Receives and inspects all incoming materials to the store and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports,
ü Documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
ü Receives, stores, tags and tracks surplus property; prepares property lists for items to be sold at auction.
ü Receives and stores documents and confidential files; maintains record of approved document and confidential file destruction.
ü Delivers and sets up furniture for various exhibition and other events as requested.
ü Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
ü Answers questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus property.
Educational Qualifications and Skills Required:
Qualification/Level of studies: BA degree in Accounting, Management, Purchasing and supplies management or related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years experiences in related field.
