As part of Deluxe Furniture, you will join more than 250 strong and vibrant individuals working nationally to accomplish the mission of the organization. Deluxe Furniture invites you, the qualified candidate, to apply for the positions of Stock Controller.
The Stock Controller typically does the following Activities:
ü Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order.
ü Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock.
ü Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.
ü Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
ü Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
ü Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
ü Processes and/or approves invoices for payment.
ü Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
ü Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
ü Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Educational Qualifications and Skills Required:
Qualification/Level of studies: Diploma in Accounting, management, Economics, purchasing and supplies management or related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years experiences in related field.
