Senior accountant is accountable to the Finance Manager and responsible for the overall financial activates of OPRIFS intervention.
Essential Duties:
Follow and implement all tax obligations as per the current rules and on time.
Preparing and reviewing of staff payroll.
Ensure the completeness of all payments & supporting document.
Registered all fixed asset on registration Book
Made a paid stump
Prepare payment & receipt Vouchers according to the standard. .
Data entry recording of financial activities.
Regularly code payment & Journal vouchers.
Responsible for filling & Documentation of the Finance Unit.
Follow up the maintenance of stock cards for expendable Items.
Monitoring and evaluation of Project Accountant tasks.
Job Requirement
Minimum Education required: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Skills, characteristics required for position :
Fluency in English and Amharic- Demonstrated abilities as a team player. Excellent computer skills and Peachtree including familiarity with Microsoft Word. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Experience
At least 3 years relevant experience for MA s
Compile prepare the overall Report(Monthly, quarterly biannually, and Annually )
Prepare aver all annual directive budget plan.
Knowledge of international donor financial report requirement is desirable
