Context/Scope
Diageo is the world's leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, beer and wine acquired. Meta Abo Brewery Share Company SC (‘Meta Brewery’) in January 2012.
Meta Brewery is the second largest beer company in Ethiopia. From its brewery near the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, it produces and distributes its flagship national lager brands Meta classic, Meta Premium and Malta Guinness. The acquisition gives Diageo direct access to the Ethiopian beer market and will complement Diageo’s existing premium spirits business in the country. Diageo distributes its premium spirits brands in Ethiopia through third party distributor arrangements. Its principal brands include Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky, Smirnoff vodka and Baileys.
The new Meta network will be managed through a new supply chain organization including GGBL led depots across Ghana with an ambition to become a fully customer-centric organization, this is the key to beat the competition, offer true customer service, partner with demand and generate real value for the company.
This role is part of the key Customer Service team structure, partnering with the stakeholders from Commercial, Support functions and Supply Chain to deliver and maintain a safe, compliant, efficient, and motivated environment for business performance.

Purpose of Role
Own the Business Stores to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained for all stock items and provide information to relevant stakeholders on timely basis to control inventory.
The incumbent need to manage Stores to;
- maintain and improve all stores compliance to HSE, EISC, SAP and CARM standards
- ensure all stores keep the right quantities of materials in stock and kept in a clean environment.
-Liaise with Head of Planning, procurement and other stakeholders to ensure the right quantity of products/materials availability
