Position: Senior Advisor – Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience
Salary: Negotiable

Job Summary
The Senior Advisor - CCA and Resilience will provide strategic leadership for relevant components of the Feed the Future/Livelihoods for Resilience Activity targeting 97,900 households in 27 woredas in the three regions of Tigray, Amhara, and Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples (SNNPR). S/he will lead the development of high-quality and practical project implementation plans in his/her sector that meet the technical expectations of the project theory of change. The position holder participates in the project’s Technical Working Group, and work closely with the project’s implementing, technical, and resource partners on issues and interventions related to CCA and resilience. S/he will be leading capacity-building of program staff, implementing partners, consortium members and government agencies in this regard.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
· Organizes and participates cross-visits, produces report on good practice and case stories;
· Analyzes past experiences to systematize and incorporate lessons learned into the DIP process;
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOW HOW)
A) EDUCATION/TRAINING
Required:
· BSc degree in Natural Resource Management, Climate Change, Environmental Science, Rural Development or other field related
Desired:
· MSc degree in related fields
B) EXPERIENCE
6 years of work experience working on nutrition, agriculture, food security and livelihoods.
C) COMPETENCIES
