FHI 360 is seeking applications for short term consultancy service for the USAID-Ethiopia funded PROGRESS global project to support the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) with technical assistance to enhance the family planning (FP) monitoring and evaluation (M&E) capacity of the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH), not only in data collection, but also data utilization for decision making to improve programs and enable the Government of Ethiopia (GOE) to meet their family planning goals.
Currently FHI360 is conducting an assessment on FP need of people living with disability, case study of Addis Ababa. the assessment conducted with aims of exploring the family planning needs of people living with disabilities, their attitude and behavior towards using modern family planning methods and existing barriers and opportunities in utilizing family planning services.
The proposed short term consultant will be responsible to analyze the FGD data using recognized qualitative data analysis software and deliver report with description of data both by total and by disability type. FHI360 have made ready the initial transcription and translation for sixteen FGD with an average pages of seven. The report deadline will be with three weeks starting from the contract agreement. In addition to that the consultant would work closely with assigned project staff up to completion of the report.
