Plan International Ethiopia is looking for a Behavioural Change Communication Specialist to be based in the Country Office.
Plan is seeking applicants for a SBCC Specialist for the Transform WASH project in Ethiopia led by Population Services International (PSI). The SBCC Specialist will serve as the project’s full-time technical lead for behavior change/demand creation activities at the community level through Health Extension Workers (HEWs) to increase demand for low-cost, quality WASH products and services, with a focus on sanitation, in the project areas of Amhara, Oromia, Tigray and SNNPR.
To be successful, you need to have a Master’s Degree or a BA degree (with additional 5 years of experience) in Psychology, Communication, Marketing, Environmental Health, Health Promotion & Communications, Development or a related field; with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience, (from the overall experience 3 years should demonstrate the success in SBCC projects generating innovative and effective behavior change or marketing solutions, and 2 years of program management or technical advisory roles in complex CLTSH and WASH BCC projects in Ethiopia).
