Plan International Ethiopia is looking for Head of Logistics & Administration to be based in Country Office.
The Role
Working with the team, the post holder is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the Logistics, and Administration functions including Information Technology, Security Management and Construction within the country programme according to Plan’s global logistics and administration principles and policies, and global best practices cognizant with local environment and business needs. S/he is the member of the Country Management Team (CMT). The role covers the Country office and all Program Area (PA) Offices with contribution to the Region of East and South Africa (RESA) regional and global logistics, administration and security strategy.
The Person
Master’s degree in Logistics or Business Administration management with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience (5 years of which must be in a supervisory position with senior management responsibility) in a UN or NGO environment, including significant logistic experience running both emergency and development programs.
A professional qualification and, or membership of recognized purchasing and supplies institution.
Experience in environment with significant scale of country wide operations management
Experience using ERP systems for supply chain functions especially knowledge SIP/SAP system is preferred.
Clear exposure and experience of Emergency contexts.
Demonstrated relevant progressive experience in similar posts
