Organizational Overview: The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) associated with former President William J. Clinton’s Foundation is currently operating in Ethiopia carrying out a wide range of programs to support the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia in improving the health status of the country by ensuring access and quality of health services. We are committed to increasing our effectiveness through an innovative programming approach that optimizes quality, impact and scale. Being the largest CHAI field office worldwide, we currently employ over 100 staff working in the following seven programs: The Ethiopian Hospital Management Initiative (EHMI), Maternal and Newborn Health (MNH), Drug Access, Lab Services, Vaccines, Nutrition and Global Health Financing.
JOB SUMMARY: The Programmer will be responsible for facilitating the development and implementation of the mhealth related and web application development under CHAI selected health facilities in the country. In addition, the programmer is responsible for planning, implementation and monitoring of applications. And finally facilitate the application installation and utilization at the selected sites.
Duty station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia: with frequent travel to regions and zones
