CAFOD, SCIAF and Trόcaire (CST) represent the official development agencies of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, Scotland and Ireland. In Ethiopia, the three agencies work together to help reduce poverty, promote development and respond to humanitarian emergencies with the Catholic Church as well as local and international NGO partners.
Overview of the Work
CST – Working Together is currently coordinating a consortium project funded by UK Aid through the START network. The project aims to improve the effectiveness and quality of the humanitarian response system by strengthening the capacity of local and national (LNGO) actors. Towards this end, CST – together is seeking to hire well experienced humanitarian professional to lead facilitation of training on humanitarian needs assessment. The training will be provided to 50 program staffs of 10 local/national NGOs for 2 days in 2 separate rounds.
