Key Responsibilities
Ø Prepare the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all import activities.
Ø Prepare and submit timely and accurate relevant documentation, for example: shipping schedules, letters of credit, licenses, declarations, packing, routing, and transport documentation.
Ø Coordinate and keep track of the deliveries throughout the shipment process.
Delivery Arrangements:
o Liaise with Logistics Executive on the date to request for the delivery of laden containers.
o Submit delivery information to factory and prepare for transport prior to material delivery.
o Notify Warehouse Supervisor on the ‘Shipment Inbound Advice’.
o Co-ordinate with Warehouse Supervisor on the completion of container un-loading.
o Notify Haulage Company to pick-up empty containers to be return to depot.
Ø Monitor shipment agencies on-time performance and provide the Inbound Logistics Executive with the on-time performance data for further analysis.
Ø Resolve problems related to the inbound logistics of the assigned materials and machines to the Factory. Seek assistance from IM as needed.
Education and Experience: First degree in purchasing and supply chain management or any related field of studies and 3 years of relevant experience.
