· Terms of employment: 6 months with a possibility of extension

- Starting gross salary: ETB 11.069
- Medical Coverage: 100%
- Relocation Allowance: ETB 4000 (one installment)

Main Purposes
Ensures (execute or supervise) in the projects the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, facilities and infrastructures, according to MSF protocols in order to maintain the facilities in perfect conditions and collaborate in the development of the mission.
Accountabilities
Maintenance and installation
· Ensure, check, maintenance and follow-up of functioning of facilities (power devices, air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical wiring to office compound, HC, residences ...) under the line manager supervision.
· Carrying out regular visits to the facilities, reporting any anomalies or problems to the line manager and later solves the problem.
· Evaluating rehabilitation needs and following up minor building rehabilitation work in accordance with instructions given by his supervisor, and accounting to him/her on progress
· Identification of local contractors and follow-up of the works
· Preparing bill of quantity for new electrical installation work.
Security and safety
· Checking that premises observe safety and security norms (electrical installations earthed, no block out of power RCDs etc.) and take the necessary actions when improvements are needed.
· Perform annual maintenance procedures and safety checks across facilities in the project.
Materials and equipment
· Ensures together with the line manager proper functioning, required checks and maintenance activities of energy equipment, electrical installations, pumps, generators, air conditioners, office equipment, according to MSF standards
· Monitoring the consumption of electrical machines/devices
· Ensures correct maintenance of the cold chain
· Follow-up investment material
· Install, maintain as per the schedule and repair biomedical when necessary.
· Train the MSF staff on the appropriate use and minor maintenance of all energy, electrical installations, pumps, generators, air conditioners, biomedical material
Education | · Essential Secondary Education · Formal Electrical or Technical Training. |
Experience | · At least 2 years in electrical related jobs. · Desirable experience in MSF.
