POSITION II: Monitoring &Evaluation officer
OPEN POSITION: One
DUTY STATION: Nagelle
DURATION: September 30, 2017
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Monitoring and Evolution Officers (temporary) will work with the SC team Liban Zone of Somali Regional State. Mercy Corps is looking for individuals who will have responsibility to support technical teams in targeting, day-to-day monitoring of activities, spot checking, and outcome monitoring.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. demonstrated equivalent work experience in the field.
2. At least three years’ experience in monitoring
3. Demonstrated experience in reviewing data for quality and accuracy.
4. Experience writing short technical reports
5. Previous experience working on UN OCHA funded programs strongly preferred
6. Proficient in tablet-based data collection
7. Effective English oral and written communication, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills are necessary
8. Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members is required
9. Ability to meet deadlines; work independently and cooperatively with team members.
10. Ability to travel long distances for monitoring purposes
