Significant tasks and responsibilities, accounting for 85 – 95% of time committed to position:
Leadership:
1. Create good team spirit and knowledge sharing environment between staff members with in the Section and all others colleagues of the organization
2. Coach, mentor and consult and guide staff members how to handle a certain task.
3. Manage and follow up the overall operations of the Section under the guidance of the IT Operation and Service Delivery Manager.
Management (business/operations):
1. Assign tasks for each staff members and follow up the executions within SLAs.
2. Prepare the work plan & budget for system resources, manpower, staff training and necessary facilities requirements of the Section and submit to the ITOSDM.
3. Evaluate each staff members under the Section based on their work effectiveness and try to encourage each staff members to be effective in discharging their responsibilities.
4. Prepare monthly/yearly report about all activities carried out in the Section, identify strong and weak sides, and devise a mechanism how to handle the challenges in consultations with ITOSDM.
Management (people):
Technical:
1. Participate in number of Strategic Project Implementations that enhances financial technologies
2. Handle the daily operations of applications and databases of the unified billing system, the mobile financial services application and other existing and upcoming systems and insures that the systems are operational across the platforms.
3. Report to IT Operation and Services Delivery Manager if a certain incident beyond scope happened and try to search solution for the problem.
4. Participate in different meetings within Information Technology Department and get knowledge and experience sharing from other Divisions and Sections.
5. Participate in the preparation of IT policies for compatibility, control and maintenance of integrity on the systems deployed.
Administrative:
1. Report and inform the overall operations and current status of the Section to IT Operation and Services Delivery Manager
2. Select and approve the necessary staff for the Section, in collaboration with HR.
3. Deploy and transfer staff in within the Section.
4. Participate in the selection and approval of appropriate technology infrastructures to support the company’s operation
5. Approve annual leave arrangements of direct reports and
6. Assist in supervising Over Time, Shift, punctuality/attendances of staff members under the Section.
Job Requirement
Qualifications : BSc Degree
Education: Computer Science, Iformation Science and Information Technology/Systems
Relevant years of experience required: At least six years
