Conduct market systems research of horticulture value chains, to be selected, through rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis. The Market Research Analyst will focus on identifying key market constraints and opportunities to facilitate a stronger market system that ultimately enables improved income of poor women and men in the locations of research (to be selected).
IV. Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Interim Program Manager to design business strategies and project interventions aligned to project objectives based upon market system analysis. Conduct primary research with wide range of market system players (i.e. farmers, traders, processors, transporters) to understand key market constraints and opportunities. Ensure knowledge transfer of market research with key program team members.
