Plan International Ethiopia is looking for Human Resources and Administration Officer to be based at Hawassa, SNNPR Programme Area.
The Role
The HR & Admin Officer is end responsible for the availability and quality of HR and administration related services that support the proper functioning of Plan International Ethiopia’s Program Area Office and sub offices. These include: PA Level recruitment facilitations, conducting proper induction in relation to HR and admiration policies and procedures, maintaining smooth relationship with guests , government partners and stakeholders linked to the role, advising the PAMT (program area management team) on HR related decisions, arranging travels and travel related documents for the PA management etc.
The HR & Admin Officer will report to the Program Area Manager of Plan International Ethiopia. The post holder directly supervises the Office Attendants at the Program Area (PA) Office and sub offices. The post holder oversees the overall PA HR and admiration related tasks. She/he has the responsibility of working with the local government social welfare offices related to human resource management and labor laws. S/he is also responsible for the smooth running of the PA office operation and customers/vendors handling. The HR & Admin Officer will be a member of the PAs’ Management Team and be responsible for taking minutes and documenting other proceedings.
To be successful, applicants need to have a BA degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources or other related fields with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an NGO environment with similar position.
