To provide a generalist Human Resources support role and advise to Line on appropriate people management solutions
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Partners with the business to align HR strategy with business needs – implements local solutions within parameters of the group framework to ensure that an integrated HR service is provided
Implements human capital initiatives and facilitates investment in medium to longer term human capital management
Implement efficient HR processes (resourcing, employee relations, hr administration, training and development etc.) to deliver improved HR services and provide ongoing briefing and communication on all HR initiatives
Management of employee contribution to deliver increased employee commitment and competence
Facilitate transformation and capacity for change – effective management of diversity and ongoing change
Budget management and cost efficiency
Develop sound employee relations and work with line to build a motivational work environment where people give of their best
Coaches managers in effective people management and provides professional and technical support to line management
Effective optimization of human resources information systems to enable and execute effective people processes
People management, including the recruitment & selection, performance management, development, reward, communication and motivation of the human resources team to ensure the achievement of human resources performance objectives.

Job Requirement
Graduate qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related fields with a minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
Human Resources Management experience is essential
Proven strong industrial relations experience in a unionised environment is essential
Change agent experience is essential
Computer literacy at intermediate level (SAP HR, Excel, Word and Power Point)
Sound labour legislation knowledge (LRA, EEA, BCEA, SAQA etc.)
