1. Plans, organizes and co-ordinates program activities at the Area Office level including SRH, HIV&AIDS, adolescents and youth, advocacy and others based on commitment of FGAE to its donors, ensuring that pre-determined results and targets are met;
2. Initiates and participates in the design of new projects/programs including Annual Program Budget and new proposals to donors;
3. Harmonizes the input of the Area Office into the repositioning of FGAE program strategy for increased effectiveness, efficiency, result and impact;
4. Producing and submitting program reports in line with agreed template and reporting schedule;
5. Planning and supporting the Area Manager in the conduct of evidence based advocacy to advance FGAE SRH agenda at the Regional level;
6. Providing technical oversight to the management of Youth programs and Youth Centers at the Area Office level for effectiveness, positive outcome and impact;
7. Providing technical assistance to the Sub-National (Regional) Government on the re-organization of existing youth centers for increased effectiveness based on MOU between FGAE and relevant government authority;
8. Lead the design and conduct of training at the Area Office level in line with approved guidelines from the Training Institute/Unit at the Head Office;
9. Under the guidance of the Area Manager, producing and marketing new proposals to secure funding from donors and leading the management and implementation of such new project;
10. Provide technical assistance to partners receiving grants from FGAE to implement SRH programs under its sub-granting arrangement;
11. Work with the M&E unit in program monitoring, conduct of operations research to inform strategy development, review and decision making;
12. Analyses program data to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of program strategy and make recommendations to the Area Manager to inform management decision;
13. Represent FGAE (Area Office) at various SRH Technical Working Groups and other program related committees established by government at the Regional level to advance and contribute to Regional SRH agenda, framework, policy and plans;
14. Represent the Area Office at the various activities of other partners (CSOs, Networks and development partners), contributing to discussions and SRH agenda setting;
15. Participate in the process leading to selection of partners for FGAE sub grants including identification, assessment and selection based of approved criteria;
16. Maintain effective relationship with implementing partners and stakeholders involved in SRH at the Regional level in support of FGAE SRH programs;
17. Making intellectual contributions to FGAE program and organizational strategic review and planning process including providing sound advice to the Area Manager on strategic management issues in his/her capacity as member of Area Office Management Team.
18. Developing and proposing to the management strategies for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of projects/programs and their implementation;
19. Monitor implementation of projects/programs, document findings, initiate actions based on findings and make appropriate recommendations to the management for appropriate actions;
20. Domesticate and implement FGAE SRH Behavior Change Communication strategy at the Regional level;
21. Providing feedback to the Head Office via Area Manager on the impact of FGAE SRH interventions at the Regional level;
22. Conducting desk review and scanning of the environment on SRH situation and trend at the Regional level and making recommendations to inform program design and development of appropriate and innovative strategy;
23. Collaborate with the Clinical Services Coordinator to design and implement a high impact demand creation and generation strategy at the Area Office level;
24. Generate and contribute information, news, stories and features for FGAE Quarterly Newsletter and Annual reports;
25. Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Education: MPH/MA/MSC/BSC/BA in Public Health, Dev’t Studies, Demography, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing and related studies
Work Experience: 4 Years for MPH/MA/MSc, 6 years for BSc/BA after graduation, shall possess an extensive experience in same or similar position in the NGO sector or donor funded project
