Job Summary
As the Financial Executive, the incumbent will collaborate with the finance team and provide a comprehensive and effective financial service. The Financial Executive will assist in ensuring that Ethiopia branch office is provided and well supported in all areas of Finance, contributing to the work efficiency of the organization. She/he will provide technical support and play a leading role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASK
- Ensure the availability of adequate petty cash as per the company financial guidelines.
- Handle payments and receipts and process according to the established rules and procedures;
- Prepare payment vouchers and effect payment as approved by the responsible person designated;
- Make sure that vouchers are checked, verified and approved by appropriate manager;
- Keep complete and accurate documentation;
- Be responsible for processing the documents required for legal compliance in Ethiopia;
- Overall responsibility for the central/main filing systems, both paper and electronic;
- Assist and ensure optimal financial systems and reporting and maintenance of Transsion Manufacturing’s PLC accounting policies, financial procedures and guidelines;
- Contribute for the overall coordination and quality monitoring of finance;
- Ensure that taxation and legislative requirements of government are complied with;
- Ensure financial information is properly and safely maintained;
- Produces and submits accurate, complete and timely financial reports of the branch, including cash flow, balance sheet, etc. (monthly, quarterly and annual );
- Provides assistance in any audit or examination to be conducted by the external or internal auditor, government regulatory agencies as well as other parties duly authorized by the finance manager or the General Manager to conduct such activity;
Prepares payroll for the company staff‘s and reviews the document after payments and effected to ascertain whether deductions of income tax and provident fund are paid to Inland Revenue.- University degree in accounting with at least 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience for Diploma holders;
- Extensive experience in finance activities, report writing and compiling monthly information;
- Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English and Amharic
- Ability to manage filing systems quickly and systematically;
