TechnoServe (TNS) is a non-profit international development organization founded in 1968. Its mission is to help entrepreneurial men and women break the cycle of poverty by building businesses that create jobs, income, and economic opportunities. TechnoServe, through its program named, Solutions for African Food Enterprises (SAFE), provides assistance to food processors in Ethiopia. SAFE is an alliance between United States Agency for International Development (USAID), TechnoServe (TNS) and Partners in Food Solutions (PFS) that aims to increase the competitiveness of the African food-processing sector with ultimate aim of expanding availability of affordable and nutritious foods.
As part of this program, TechnoServe Ethiopia Country Office is inviting competitive licensed consultants/consulting firms to undertake consumer insight survey for infant and mothers (Lactating Mothers) foods. The objective of the survey is to get brief understanding of the consumer perception towards nutritional product, quality, price, and in general mothers preference in use of infant cereals and porridges. The survey will enable a targeted food-processing company to get raw information about consumers and personal customer insight particularly for infant and mothers cereals and porridges.
To this end, SAFE project would like to hire a firm that can conduct data collection for consumer insight survey in specific areas Addis Ababa where new families reside and maternal clinics.
