Position overview:
Implement regulations of production,complete production plans on time and assure product quality。
Work content:
1. Distribute production plan to line leaders.
2. Check and confirm that the number of assembly line personnel and the number of production lines is according to plan.
3. Check and maintain equipment.
4. Guide line leaders according to the production plan and supervise them.
- Analyze and solve production problems when they occur.
Check production lines every two hours and confirm the smooth and balanced production operations of each line.
5. Arrange staff according to their skills. Train line leaders on how to assign staff to workstations.
6. Keep record of broken materials and make sure they are returned to warehouse properly and in time.
7. Check that products meet quality standard. Supervise line leaders to check the quality standard and work-out ways to improve quality.
8. Check and sign on (approve) various production process forms.
9. Ensure 7s is applied all the time and be prepared for emergency situations.
10. Keep record of, summarize and analyze production data and think of ways to improve productivity.
11. Summarize and analyze the performance of line leaders on a weekly and monthly basis.
o Check the accuracy and reliability of records made by line leaders like QC record, repair record, daily production record, lost time record, extended work hours application record, staff performance assessment record, production check list record and other various daily production related records.
12. Establish and utilize Key Performance Indicator
- Establish KPI according to the company’s quality goal
o Consider UT, OQL, production yield rate, man-made errors
- Guide line leaders on how to execute their task according to the KPI, check their execution and keep improving
- Establish a scheme to evaluate performance according the KPI
- Guide subordinates on how to perform their duties and assess their performance
- Use the established KPI to measure production achievement, analyze problems if goal is not achieved and find ways to improve productivity and achieve the goal.
- Compile and summarize monthly production data, present it on monthly management review meeting which should include achievement, obstacles or problems and measures taken to overcome these obstacles.
13. Perform staff training(with engineering department)
- Organize training for new staff and assess their skills.
- Plan yearly staff training program and execute it accordingly
- Perform regular production line leaders training: organize and guide training and assess trainees on completion of the training.
- Organize training for line leaders about quality standards according to the yearly staff training plan and promote quality awareness among staff.
- Train staff on production improvement.
- Organize training on production safety and promote safety awareness.
14. Make sure fire safeguarding materials and methods are always ready.
15. Work with other departments.
16. Perform duties assigned by superiors.Post qualification:
Education/Experience
Education; BSc in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering and related field of studies.
Experience: Engaged in Industrial Management work or Technology work(Production Industries) for more than three years,with rich technical basis and management Skills。
- Must have an experience managing more than 300 staffs.
Skills:
◆ Familiar with the ERP system, proficient in office productivity software.
◆ Familiar with mobile phone assembly process
◆ Able to use 4M1E 5W2H
◆ Ability to do analysis of causes of defects
◆ Familiar with the ISO9000: 2000 operation system and 5S management
◆ Ability to play a leadership role,improve the consciousness of
quality and skill level of staff
◆ Improve subordinate productivity, cohesion,can make unique approaches on how to improve the efficiency and rational use of resources, reduce costs
◆ Familiar with the production and operation processes; able to create production workflows and do documentations
◆ Have strong sense of responsibility
◆ Good at communication and coordination with other departments
◆ Ability to work under pressure
