Habesha is looking for Internal Audit and Control Improvement Manager (Duty Station: Addis Ababa) which is a Grade 11 position per the Company’s job grading.
The Role Summary:
The internal audit and process improvement manager works within the business to monitor and evaluate how well risks are being managed, the business is being governed and internal processes are working. Next to carrying out internal audits, the Internal Audit and Process Improvement Manager is responsible for driving process improvement projects and owning the Habesha Business Process manual. For this role we are looking for a senior audit manager with a strong business sense, a teaching attitude and a passion for business process improvement.
The Person:
· Leading the Habesha Internal Audit and Process Improvement Team
· Preparation of the internal audit charter together with Habesha Management
Team and external auditor
· Performing financial audits on all business processes, financial controls and
financial reports
· Leading process improvement projects
· Process and key control mapping
· Leading financial training programs focused on process improvements
· Own, update and maintain Habesha Business Process Manual of all processes and
controls
Experience
· Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in internal or external audit
· Minimum of 2 year management experience in leading a team of professionals
· Experience in a multinational working environment. International experience in
work or study is considered a big plus
· Experience in the beverage or manufacturing industry is a plus
· Proper understanding of IFRS
· Teaching experience is a plus
· Hands on, problem solving and continues improvement mentality
Knowledge
· Completed university degree in business economics or financial accounting
· ACCA certification (or equivalent) is considered a big plus
· Fluent command of English both written and spoken
· Excellent command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
