Terms of Reference for one-year framework agreement
for Videography and Photography Work (Regular Events and productions )
Organization: Save the Children in Ethiopia
Location/Venue: Addis Ababa and other field offices as appropriate
Dates/duration: one year
Background:
Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. In Ethiopia and around the world, we work every day to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. When crisis strikes and children are most vulnerable, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We ensure children’s unique needs are met and their voices are heard. We deliver lasting results for millions of children, including those hardest to reach.
We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share.
Scope of Work:
The consultant selected for these assignments will provide comprehensive and professional video and photography service of all regular events and productions needs organized by Save the Children for the duration of one year.
For the purpose of this TOR and subsequent agreements, “regular events and productions” include but are not limited to recurring strategy development, planning or kick-off meetings in which attendance is not categorized as VIP. The media are typically not invited in these meetings. Regular event documentation and productions could also be defined as photography and videography outputs that will be used for internal/ external visibility, and learning documentations for projects not targeting high level audience.
About the Project:
Save the Children in Ethiopia wants to hire photography and videography services for one year to comprehensively and professionally cover all its regular events as defined in the Scope of Work section of this TOR. Save the Children needs these events documented in high quality audiovisual and picture versions. If a regular event happens to involve small group engagements, all the group discussions and their final presentations are an important part of the event and they need to be captured as well as other sessions. In a nutshell, a full video and photographic coverage of a high level event is expected to be largely a rerun of that event enriched with creative elements and professional edits.
