· Define, organize, implement and follow-up all care and nursing related activities in the project, ensuring the daily management of the human resources as well as the implementation of the MSF nursing protocols, in order to warrant efficiency , quality and continuity of prescribed care.
· Plan and organize all ER nursing activities, its organization design and sizing and participates in order to efficiently maintain the continuity of the healthcare at the standard quality levels.
· Ensure that a high standard of nursing care is delivered for all critical patients, and participate in clinical care when necessary
· In ER, coordinate and supervise the implementation of the legal therapeutic protocols, procedures and standards, providing technical support when needed, to ensure the quality of the nursing care, confidentiality and information traceability, patient surveillance, as well as ensuring that therapeutic and sterilization rules are used by the health care personnel.
· Ensure that the check list from Triage before sending patient in IPD is well following by the team in ER.
· Ensures all administrative procedures and documents (individual patient’s card and registration book, discharge paper, transfer paper, etc.) are used correctly, as well as the existing data management tools (e.g. HMIS.).
· In cooperation with the pharmacist and PMR, supervise the management and running of the medical equipment and pharmacy activity, preparing new orders when required.
· In close coordination with the HR department, plan and supervise the associated processes (recruitment, training, evaluation, Annual leave plan, development and communication) of the nursing staff of the project in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required, improve people capabilities
· In charge for scheduling duty rosters, shifts and on call of nursing staff.
· Report to the line manager on any relevant information linked to nursing activities and participates in monthly reports
· Proactively bring to the attention of the MSF management any issues within the scope of the project which require additional discussion or attention. Closely follows up any such initiatives, with responsibility for monitoring the implementation of project activities.
The Nurse Supervisor ensures, promotes and respects medical confidentiality
· Supervises and Coaches ER Nurses to ensure that quality services are provided regularly and comply with MSF standards.
· Ensures high standard infection control and prevention in ER department.
Participates and follows evolution of the patient by ensuring Vital Signs are properly taken and recorded.

Education | · Nursing diploma and valid professional licence is essential.

Experience | · Previous Experience as Nurse Supervisor with MSF. · Experience in other NGOs and /or developing countries is desirable. |
Languages | · Fluent in English. Local language strongly desirable. |
