Job Purpose:
Under direct supervision and directives of the CEO, plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control the overall sales activities of the company across the country.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control all the sales and delivery activities of the company nationwide.
· Prepare sales & delivery plan using sales order records, current marketing efforts, trend analysis of sales & delivery performances of previous years and market research outputs
· Develop an effective sales strategy and ensure its timely implementation
· Keep monitoring list of on-going sales contracts with distribution agents
· Maintain a regular system of sales feedback with distribution agents to determine assignable causes and remedy for the company
· Respond to all sales inquiries without delay and make sure the same is done by area sales managers.
· Participate in developing policies and procedures which are related to sales
· Evaluate on a continuous basis the inventory of finished goods in store
· Ensure that the finished goods store is provided with the required information regarding the customer, type and quantity of products, and timing of delivery
· Handle all claims and customer complaints professionally with a view to maintaining, long term relationship and developing good will and image of the company;
· Prepare reports on claims and customer complaints, checks the validity of claims and complaints and if found acceptable recommends appropriate measures to be taken
· Maintain formal and well organized recording system and documentation on the operation of the sales team
· Do sales analysis and accurately forecast Sales and Stock requirement and coordinate with Logistics for the same.
· Co-ordinate with Marketing team and execute all the marketing and brand activities
· Prepare a summary of the team’s activities in a series of management reports and statistics to provide management a measure of the operational performance of the team
· Ensure sales volume is at its maximum, maintaining product mix, and selling price
· Assess any competitor actions which are likely to affect product sales and delivery
· Schedule occasional meeting with area sales managers to reviews the their performance and support them, so that company’s sales goal can be achieved
· Involve in recruitment activities and participate in the implementation of personnel policies & procedures
· Perform related duties as assigned or as situations dictate.

Qualification:
· BA Degree in Sales and Marketing Management, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management or related field of study
Work Experience:
ü Minimum 8 years of experience in in sales activities preferably from an FMCG industry out of which at least 2 years in a Managerial position
