Register new arrivals, new births, deaths and change of status in UNHCR's proGres database;
Issue proof of registration, ration cards and ID cards to UNHCR persons of concern;
Prepare food distribution and other types of lists based on the information extracted from the database;
Continuously update and back up proGres database;
Provide statistics and data analysis as required;
Assist in compilation of data and interpreting the statistics for various reports;
Assist in the development of forms for data collection and analysis, if requested;
Act as a backup for Senior Data Management Associate, as and when requested;
Collaborate with implementing and operational partners in charge of distribution of food and non-food Items (NFI) during such distributions and apply Standard Operating Procedures on Continuous Registration;
Assist in preparation and physical filling of individual asylum-seeker and refugee files, including resettlement cases;
Act as interpreter and translator when required;
Perform other relevant duties as required.
Job Requirement
Essential Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Completion of secondary education with post-secondary training/certificate in social sciences, statistics, mathematics, information technology or related fields.
Desirable Qualifications & Competencies
Fluency in English and local language applicable to the duty station;
Computer skills: MS-Office and particularly MS-Access.
