Digital Green is an international, non-profit development organization that builds and deploys information and communication technology to amplify the effectiveness of development efforts to affect sustained, social change. The Digital Green approach combines technology and social organization to improve the cost-effectiveness of extension systems globally, and broaden the community participation in existing best practices. Digital Green is currently collaborating with Ethiopia’s Ministry of Agriculture, Agriculture Transformation Agency (ATA), international research organizations and several international development partners and NGOs in the country to rapidly scale its operations in the country. Job Summary
The Assistant Program Manager III (APM III) position is an exciting opportunity for Digital Green – Ethiopia and will provides front-line and field-level implementation support in main work processes of initiation, production, diffusion and data management to Digital Green implementation Woredas. You will primarily report to the Deputy Senior Program Manager for Oromia. You will be working closely with government extension functionaries and partners at the service delivery level to assure high quality program implementation. You will involve independently facilitating training of partner staff and community intermediaries in different components of Digital Green approach such as video production, dissemination and data management. APM III role also entails peer support to APM I and II on aspect of partnership management. APM III also design Woreda performance review meetings, and a regular field connection with the organization’s Ethiopia Office through the respective regional office in form of reports, updates, case studies, success stories and other forms of documentation.
