Chemonics International seeks experienced professionals for the USAID-funded Global Health Supply Chain - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project. GHSC-PSM Ethiopia will serve as the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve the country’s management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global and local health initiatives.
The project is currently seeking qualified Forecasting, Supply planning and Client Management Coordinator based in Addis Ababa and works under the guidance of Forecasting and Supply planning manager and mainly responsible for coordinating forecasting, supply planning and client management activities for TLP and HQ managed procurements to meet client expectations ensuing increasing availability while minimizing wastage due to expiry and obsolescence. S/he will also be responsible to support PFSA in coordinating quantification activities of national demands of various health commodities. Please see the criteria below for details:
Job Requirement
Degree in pharmacy, Public health, Medicine, Laboratory, Supply chain management, or relatedsubjects; or combination of relevant education and experience.
At least 5 years of experience in health commodities management.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
Demonstrated computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite and other quantification tools required.Proven experience on Quantimed and Pileline and other forecasting tools is a plus
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented setting is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, communications skills, and ability to identify andresolve operational constraints required.
Flexibility in working and the ability to prioritize and manage a wide range of activities required.
Knowledge of Ethiopian public health sector preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel within Ethiopia and internationally preferred
