Brief highlights of the Society
The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) was established on the eve of Ethio-Italian war, on July, 8, 1935 and signed the Geneva Convention on July 25 of the same year and became 48th member of League of Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies on 25, September 1935. Since then the Society have engaged on providing Humanitarian services & community based development initiatives. Currently the ERCS has a structure consisting of 11 Regional Offices, 32 Zonal Branches and 112 District/Woreda Branches and 3673 grass root committees/Kebele Red Cross Committees.

Job Summary
The Quality Assurance & Learning Office Head, directly accountable to the Secretary General, develops, reviews & proposes corporate strategic and operational plans & ensures their alignment with structural echelon of the society; monitors & evaluates the same; Ensures that organizational development of ERCS is enhanced & strengthened by nurturing organization learning. Serves as change champion and reformer of the Society by strengthening quality assurance & knowledge transfer among all work units both in the NHQ & Regional Branches

Job Specification
Second/ First degree in Economics/Management/ Statistics/ Development Studies and 8/10 years respectively in related work experiences, out of which 3/4 years in managerial position(s).
