Job Purpose
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop emergency projects M&E plans as indicated on the project proposal and ensure that the plan is designed in line with Concern’s PCM and M&E guidelines.
2. Provide technical support to ensure the emergency projects data and relevant documents are up to the required standards as set in the Project documents M&E plan and donner requirement.
3. Support the program to have appropriate baseline information and contextual analysis when required
4. Make sure all the reports and data from all nutrition sites collected and integrated in to central data base at field office.
5. Manage the area office data base including collecting all program data from nutrition team leaders and entering into database, analyse and share it with relevant officers, team leader and managers at a regular basis.
6. Produce monthly progress report, quarterly report, midterm report, project terminal report and annual report as per internal, government and donor reporting templates on timely manner.
7. Provide on timely feedback to the program, how the project is progressing in terms quality and performance indicators.
8. Support projects and Programmes to development M&E plan in-line with the project document and organizational M&E system.
9. Facilitate and conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to the project and support programme/project to implement the recommendation from evaluation and reviews.
10. In collaboration with the team leaders and managers plan and Facilitate annual Learning review of programmers and support functions
11. With a guidance from M&E adviser prepare a summary of annual learning review reports and disseminate to relevant departments and partners
12. Take part in case studies with a guidance from the M&E adviser.
13. Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
Ø BSc degree or Diploma Economics, Sociology or related fields with minimum of 5 years and 8 years’ experience respectively in monitoring, evaluation and data management
Ø Experience of working with and through partners
Ø Minimum of 2 years NGO Experience
Desirable
Ø Profound experience in monitoring, evaluation, data management and cross cutting issues, preferably in NGO
Ø Strong professional initiative, self-confidence, oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ø Computer literate in using statistical software like SPSS, MS Excel, MS word, MS PowerPoint
Ø Undertakes review and analysis of data and information collected through survey, assessment and monitoring & evaluation.
Ø Fluent spoken & written English,
Strong report writing and facilitation skill
