Habesha is looking for Corporate Communications Manager (Duty Station: Addis Ababa) which is a Grade 11 position per the Company’s job grading.
The Role Summary:
Working with various departments and teams within the organization, the post holder is responsible for coordinating the communications output within and outside the company. Creates and delivers emails, direct mail, brochures, newsletters, company literature and other forms of communication.
Key Deliverables:
· Design corporate communication strategy and plan;
· Assisting with the design and development of a media relations strategy that promotes, protects and builds on Habesha’s reputation and ensures alignment with Habesha’s strategies and priorities;
· Developing an internal communication plan to drive engagement, alignment and understanding of Habesha’s strategy and priorities;
· Creating a positive media profile and positioning;
· Building strong working relationships with other internal teams and individuals and providing communications consultancy advice to all departments ;
· Ensuring efficient and effective use of communications channels reviewing and updating to meet audience requirements.
Experience
· Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in corporate communications;
· Experience in a multinational working environment, international experience in work or study is considered as a plus;
· Experience in the beverage or manufacturing industry is a plus;
· Experience of operating at strategic level in large and complex organizations;
· Experience handling major corporate affairs.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities;- Excellent understanding of best practice and digital communications;
- Strong stakeholder management and networking skills, motivational writing, planning and organizational skills, and a creative and innovative approach;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate complex information accurately;
