CCFC has the Project Technical Officer vacancy for the project called Canada-Africa Initiative to Address Maternal, Newborn and Child Mortality (CAIA-MNCM) in Ethiopia.
Job Responsibilities:
The Project Technical Officer reports to Project Coordinator. The Project Technical Officer is responsible for providing technical support for project facilitators, health extension workers, and district level project stakeholders on maternal, newborn and child health through training, technical advice and on-the-spot technical support and timely reporting the progress of the project to Project Coordinator. The Project Technical Officer is also responsible for ensuring that the target project beneficiaries get the intended project benefits and project activities are implemented timely, effectively and efficiently bringing positive impact on their health on sustainable way. He/She will build effective working relationship with local government offices, elaborate project plan, closely supervise and coordinate project activities, and prepare and submit project reports to Project Coordinator.
