Position Female Intern, Renewable Energy Technology
Place of Work: Bahir Dar
Remuneration: as per the GIZ scale
Application deadline: October 20, 2017
Duration: 3-Month with possibility extension to 6-Month
Responsibilities:
The Intern for Renewable Energy Technology will support the regional programm office in the day to day activities of Bionergy, Solar energy and Microhydro power development sections. Specifically, to undertake data collection, processing and analysis for further stove design in the bioenergy section. Moreover the intern support the business development support and establishment of Improved cook stove and solar retailers associations that includes but not limited to setting up of workable association framework.
A. The incumbent has the following major responsibilities
· Assist the implementation and monitoring of RE technology development processes and activities as per agreed objectives, outputs, milestones and indicators defined in the program documents.
· Maintains an overall good flow of communication and information between all involved staff and institutions.
· Undertake stove acceptability test and report
· Assist business development process of ICS producers, solar retailers and their respective associations.
B. Within the context of the above mentioned responsibilities, she fulfils the following specific tasks in the renewable energy interventions of EnDev ET in general and the regional intervention in particular

Required Entry Qualifications, Competences, and Experience
· Minimum of a BSc degree in Engineering; Renewable Energy, Mechanical/Thermal, electrical, and related field;
· Zero years of Work experience
· Fluent in English, both written and oral;
· Demonstrate able computer skills (MS Office, Engineering application software such as AutoCAD, renewable energy system analysis and optimization software), and others;
